    First time here wanted to try it for years but always heard mixed reviews. All I can say my experience was 5 stars for stockton.... service was great....bread could of been better but the steak was perfect no need for a knife. The lobster was the main feature for me. It was huge probably close to a pound of perfection. It was fresh, tender, just perfect. If will gladly pay the $96 bucks for that plate again....

    BEST STEAK IN TOWN. DUE TO THE PRICES WE SAVE FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS. ONLY BEEN FOR DINNER BUT I HEAR THEIR LUNCH MEATLOAF IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! DEF A PLACE TO IMPRESS A CLIENT OR A DATE . THEY DO CLOSE FAIRLY EARLY ITS NOT A LATE NIGHT EATERY. EXCELLENT FOOD GREAT SERVICE FULL BAR

    The meals were fantastic! I do wish they would be able to split bills for lunch and deliver the bill more promptly. Fix these two things and it's a hands down 5 star rating. Fantastic service and food otherwise.

    This place is a hidden gem! The food was excellent. The price weren't cheap but they weren't unreasonable either. Everyone was friendly. Especially the owner who made sure everyone was happy with their food and helped anyone who had their hands full when leaving going as far as accompanying them to their car. The area this restaurant is located in isn't the best (across the street is a "flea-bag" motel that advertises rooms by the hour) but that didn't deter us at all. We have already made plans to return for dinner soon.

    I have been going to El Rancho for lunch and dinner for approx. 2 months now. The place is packed for Lunch and the same for dinner. I am from Houston, Tx and have been to many top rated steak houses. this restaurant ranks with any in Houston. Ray and his cooks (staff) know how to cook a steak the way you want it!! The ribeyes and strips are at least 2" thick and seasoned perfectly. Try the steak and lobster while you are at it..Sit at the Bar for lunch, watch the locals play dice and shout, and eat a lunch. Jessica is the beautiful Day bartender and she will take care of you, but all of Ray's Staff are beautiful ladies..You will love this place!! One of a kind. Regarding price.....I believe you get what you pay for..I have no problem with his prices...Doug
